The Journal of Artificial Intelligence and Knowledge Engineering (JAIKE) encompasses all types of novel research and Applications that arises form exploiting cognitive process of knowledge-mining, AI, knowledge discovery, knowledge acquisition, knowledge processing, and distribution related to IOTs and smart product development. This quarterly peer-reviewed archival journal publishes state-of-the-art research on emerging topics in KEAI, book reviews on relevant topics in related areas, and application papers of interest to AIKE researchers and industrial professionals.

Articles published in JAIKE must meet the highest quality standards, as measured by its originality and significance of the research contribution, and the clarity of explanations. Papers should describe work that has both practical and theoretical significance. Authors must clearly provide supporting evidences of all claims, and validate them by empirical experiments or theoretical analyses preferably demonstrating its utility on practical problems; Papers describing systems should clearly describe their originating system-thinking aspects and the principles underlying their constructions. Papers should report on what was learned in doing the research work, rather than merely outlining what was done.

Authors must clearly acknowledge the contributions of their predecessors. If a paper introduces new terminology or techniques, it should also explain why previous terminology or techniques are insufficient and why authors need to propose new ones.

We encourage authors to be concise with enough evidences to support its hypotheses and validate its findings. JAIKE also publishes survey articles, Special Issues, book reviews and editorials. Survey articles are tutorials or literature reviews that contribute an analysis or perspective that advance our understanding of the subject matter and make it accessible to a broad community of researchers or practitioners. Special issues are collections of articles on some specific subjects or emerging topics proposed or led by a group of one or more renowned Guest Editors. All articles must conform to the standards outlined in JAIKE Editorial policies and standards.
